Reblog: If you had to pick only 10 foods

A bit of fun seen over at Primal Toad’s blog. “Desert island deli” of sorts: If you had to pick only 10 foods to eat for the rest of your life, what would they be?

It may be worth considering foods that will enable you to live for the rest of your life ie. cover all the nutrient groups!

Here is my list:

1. Pig
2. Eggs
3. Chicken (well, need them for the eggs anyway)
4. Cabbages
5. Spring Onions /Scallions!
6. Mushrooms
7. Blackberries
8. Banana (or maybe rhubarb)
9. Chocolate
10.Almonds (hazelnuts close but less versatile)

Butter, double cream and cheddar cheese are all sadly absent. Can you milk a pig?
